I spent a long time believing the thoughts my mind was telling me, leading to decades of rumination, anxiety, and the sense that something was wrong with me. I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) at the age of 19 and continually searched for techniques that would help relieve my intrusive thoughts, depression, and anguish.
Participating in the Change Coach training I finally began to see the “OK-ness” of life - and me - in a way I hadn’t seen before. Since then, I have found a calmness of mind and insight that I couldn’t find in my library of self-help books, medication, or other "feel good" strategies. I would be crazy not to share this understanding with others!
Finding my true calling as a change coach, I now guide others to see their "stuckness" in a new way & experience the same peace of mind I have. The program married my passion for teaching and helping others with my personal interest in finding mental peace.
Growing up, I constantly heard others tell me, “It’s all in your head,” “You think too much” or “You’re overanalyzing the situation” – statements that fell flat with me. Today, I actually see the deeper meaning of these statements and my mission is to help others see the truth beyond their simplicity.
